The Circle of Red is crucial in driving local support to fund life saving research and to educate women.  Though we have made great strides in the advancement of women’s cardiovascular health, we still have far to go.  We need your help now so that our mothers, sisters, and daughters have a chance to fight this silent killer.  By sharing a commitment to speak up, spread the word and support the research, you can help save lives.

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s solution to save women’s lives.  Too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer.  One in three women suffers in silence – many not even realizing they are at risk, and almost one woman dies every minute of this largely preventable disease!  Go Red For Women believes that bringing women together empowers them to bring a voice to this silent killer to help save lives.

The Circle of Red is a very special group of women who support the Go Red For Women cause through their contributions of significant resources and influence in the support of the cause.  The Circle of Red is like a grassroots sisterhood, made up of amazing women who advocate for women’s health and are determined to save lives.

Barbara Cohen's Story

We have all lost someone close to us from heart disease.   I know from personal experience - - my mother suffered with heart disease for 20 years. I honor her by sharing a commitment to speak up, spread the word and support research.  Though great strides have been made, we still have far to go.  The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women cause needs our help now, so that others have a chance to fight this silent killer.

We at Kannon have already contributed $10,000 and now have a goal to raise another $2,000 by March 1
st to fight against women's Number 1 killer - Heart Disease.  You can help me raise funds and protect those you love by making a donation online.
