Chicago Heart Ball
Thank you to our event chairs, leadership committees, honorees, generous sponsors and guests for helping to make the 30th Anniversary of the Chicago Heart Ball a huge success. The theme this year, “30 years of Hope at Heart” reflected our desire to showcase the work of the American Heart Association over the past 30 years, those who have helped advance the mission and all of you who are helping to support further research, education, community programs and advocacy.
We are thrilled to share our “Best of the 2012 Chicago Heart Ball”…
The 2012 Heart Ball raised $1.6 million to support the mission of the American Heart Association – Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Over 800 guests attended – most ended the night dancing and singing along to Lynne Jordan and the Shivers.
We highlighted our Coeur d’Or Honorees' passion for the AHA - advancements in research, CPR, women’s heart health, carefully designed protocols and much more.
The Silent Auction caused quite the bidding frenzy in the last 30 seconds, which set the stage for an exciting Live Auction
There was not a dry eye in the room during our Open Your Heart program when Melissa Simon inspired us all with her story of courage, hope and love.
