2016 Northwest Indiana Heart of Gold Gala Details

VENUE & PARKING

The 2016 Northwest Indiana Heart of Gold Gala will be held on May 21, 2016 at the Radisson Star Plaza in Merrillville.  Upon arrival, complementary valet parking will be available.  Please be sure to drive around to the entrance that runs alongside 1-65.  Click here for directions.

GUEST CHECK-IN

Upon arrival, guests will be directed to the check-in table where they will be greeted & given their event program.  If you haven't already done so, you will be able to register your cell phone number for mobile bidding.  After checking-in, please make your way to the 2nd floor ballroom for an amazing auction and open bar.  

SILENT AUCTION

Silent auction will be done via mobile bidding!  Guests will be able to peruse the fabulous auction items and make bids via their cell phones.  Feel free to mingle and enjoy the evening while being able to place and watch your bids right from your own cell phone.  There is no app to download, your personal bidding link will open from any internet browser on your phone.  Hostesses will be wearing red sashes and they will be ready to help make your event experience a delight & help answer any questions you may have and assist.  The auction will close on at 8:30 p.m..

DINNER & PROGRAM

Once the auction concludes, we will go to the main floor ballroom for an exquisite dining experience and memorable program! During the program, you will hear heartfelt accounts of those affected by the live-saving mission of the American Heart Association. You will have an opportunity during the Open Your Heart portion to make a personal gift of significance to help impact the mission & we truly hope you are inspired by the stories shared. 

DESSERT & COFFEE BAR

Once the event concludes, please join us upstairs where the auction room will be transformed into a twenty-five food long display of decadent desserts accompanied by the delicious coffee bar with drink selections sure to please!
